We interviewed President Higashi of Acacia Landscaping Corporation, a landscaping company that is in its 18th year of introducing Power Rotary Scissors.
Q. What made you decide to introduce Power Rotary Scissors?
I first became aware of Power Rotary Scissors when I noticed a problem with flying stone accidents while mowing the grass around a road.
Before introducing the Power Rotary Scissors, we investigated and tested various mowing blades and methods for preventing flying stones, but we were troubled by the fact that they did not improve safety as much as we had expected, or that they made work extremely inefficient, and we could not come up with a decisive solution. In terms of workability, the tip weight is heavier than that of a chip saw, so we adjust the handle position and shoulder strap to change the balance.
Q. Please tell us why you have been using Power Rotary Scissors continuously for 18 years.
When considering the safety of mowing, Power Rotary Scissors is the first choice. However, Power Rotary Scissors has some disadvantages, such as heavy weight and reduced work efficiency, so we would have stopped using it if the work site had changed. We continue to use Power Rotary Scissors because it is not a just safe product.
