We interviewed Mr. Usami of Asahi Construction Co.

Ａ．Our company undertakes public and private construction projects for the prefecture and city. Prior to the introduction of Power Rotary Scissors, we had been struggling with measures to prevent sflying stones when mowing along roadsides, parking lots, and around facilities.

We had known about Power Rotary Scissors as a flying stone countermeasure product for some time, but we were skeptical about whether it was worth the cost. The decisive factor in our decision was when we heard from a company in the same industry that had introduced Power Rotary Scissors as a safety measure and had experienced zero accidents involving stepping stones. The familiar opinion was the best reference for us, and we made up our mind to introduce the product.

Q. What is the current use of Power Rotary Scissors?

Ａ．We use the Power Rotary Scissors of engine brushcutter set and a 58V battery brushcutter set. When we actually used them, we were amazed at the two differences compared to our previous work.

The first is safety. Since the stones hardly fly and only roll, there is a significant suppression effect. Fewer areas need protective netting, which increases work efficiency and improves costs.

　The second is the workability of the battery brushcutter set. Recently, when the work site is in a residential area or around buildings, the engine noise during the work can lead to neighborhood problems, so engine noise reduction is becoming a must. I had been interested in battery brushcutters for a long time, but had not used them because I imagined that their usage time would be short and their power would be weak. However, the workability of IDECH’s 58V Battery Power Rotary Scissors elex is completely comparable to that of an engine. The motor’s unique high torque allows work to be done even at low RPMs, and with a spare battery, work can be done for long hours. Before purchasing the machine, I assumed that it would be used only in a few places, but now it has become a powerful enough tool for a variety of jobsites.
